How does purchasing an IPSE piece of jewelry work?
Our process is designed to create an authentic piece of jewelry starting from a real print, not a simple photograph:
- Order your jewelry: Choose the gold or silver model on our website.
- Receive the IPSE Kit: We will ship our special kit for taking the print directly to your home.
- Take the print: Use it comfortably at home with your pet, following the simple instructions included.
- Send the kit back to us: Once the print is taken, place the kit back in the packaging and send it back to us using the return system we will provide.
- We create the magic: Once we physically receive the kit at our workshop, our master goldsmiths will use your real print (not an image!) to forge the jewelry.
- Receive your jewelry: We will ship your unique, personalized piece directly to your home.
How does the impression kit work? Is it difficult to use?
It is very easy and completely paw-proof! The kit contains a special, safe material. Simply press your pet's paw or nose gently to capture its shape in just a few seconds. The process is completely painless, clean, and designed not to stress the animal.
What if the impression doesn't turn out right the first time?
Don't worry, we know our four-legged friends don't always sit still! Our material allows you to practice. If you aren't happy with the print, you can try again until you get the perfect result to send us.
Is the kit safe for my pet?
Absolutely. The safety of your pets is Aeternus Srl's priority. The kit materials are non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and 100% safe for contact with your pet's skin or fur.
Can I take an impression of both the paw and the nose (truffle)?
Yes! The kit works perfectly for both surfaces. The nose print is unique and unrepeatable, just like a fingerprint, and our physical processing allows us to capture every single wonderful detail.
Is it only suitable for cats and dogs?
No, the IPSE kit is delicate and versatile, and can be used for any pet: rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and small birds.
What material are IPSE jewels made of?
To ensure you have a memory that lasts forever, all IPSE by Aeternus jewelry is made exclusively from the highest quality precious metals. We use only 925 Sterling Silver and 18ct Gold. We do not use steel, brass, or base metal alloys. All of our products are hypoallergenic and skin-safe.
Can I also have my pet's name engraved?
Yes! On most of our models, you can add a text engraving (such as a name, a small heart, or a date) on the back or next to the print. You will find the appropriate field to fill out on each product page when placing your order.
Can I wear my IPSE jewelry in the shower?
Yes. As they are made exclusively of 18ct Gold and 925 Sterling Silver, our jewelry is water-resistant. However, as these are precious handcrafted pieces, we recommend taking care of them by avoiding prolonged contact with thermal water, chlorine (pools), perfumes, or harsh chemical agents to preserve their shine over time.
What are the production and delivery times?
Creating a custom piece of jewelry from a physical impression requires artisanal precision. The timelines are as follows:
- Kit Dispatch: Within 24/48 hours of your initial order, we will ship the kit to your home.
- Jewelry Creation: From the moment we receive your returned kit at our workshop, our artisans will take 2 to 3 weeks to forge and finish your jewelry. As soon as it is ready, it will be handed over to the courier for delivery.
How much is shipping?
The indicated cost covers the entire logistics process (sending the initial kit, returning the kit to us, and the final shipment of the piece of jewelry). The rates are as follows:

Can I return the finished piece of jewelry?
IPSE by Aeternus jewelry pieces are custom-made, cast, and engraved from the unique physical paw print of your pet. For this reason, in accordance with the law regarding strictly personalized goods, it is not possible to exercise the right of withdrawal or request a return for finished products.
